Working beyond 46hours per week which is done by the advertising company has impacted on the lives of the employees. Despite the additional pay that comes with working beyond the normal required working hours, the company has realized reduction in the productivity of the workers. The report will look into the effects of long working hours to employees.
It negatively affects the productivity of the employees: the office workers are subjected to making errors due to fatigue. The office workers are unlikely to offer full potential for the work. The office workers develop body weakness which results to slow action of the muscles. Lastly, office workers experience brain overworking and loss of concentration.
It affects the domestic and social life of the workers: There is little time given to the children which results to the development of children without parental motivation and care. Secondly, it results to breakages of marriage due to lack of communication. The fatigue denies the office workers the opportunity to do family chores. Lastly, the office workers do not have time to make friends hence becoming anti-social.
Long working hours affects the health of the employees which is more advanced in women. The office workers develop back pains and other disease like stroke easily. They also experience sight problems due to continuous screen light exposure. The workers experiences disorders in the cardiovascular neuroticism and gastrointestinal. It also forces the formation of a specific body shape due to muscles orientations.
