Communication and development of relationship between parents of children with disabilities and school personnel plays an important role and helps to shape the performance of children. To ensure effective relationship it is important to identify the trust that each individual has on other. Proper identification of factors that helps to build trust ensures a long lasting relationship and helps to develop the performance of children.

Studies conducted in this direction shows that family, school and teacher characteristics help to build trust (Angell, Stonner & Shelden, 2009). The most important aspect for developing trust is communication. Having proper communication ensures that the relationship between the different characteristics is developed. This helps to ensure that the performance of the children improves.

Relationship that the parents of children develop with disabilities with the children has a bearing due to different factors. One of the most important factors that have an influence on the relationship is the school characteristics. The relationship the children have with the teachers and the ability to communicate clearly helps to improves understanding.
