Blind Sports SA supports over 10 different sports so that people who have vision problems are able to be associated with the game of sports (Blind Sports. 2014). To ensure maximum advantage for vision impaired people they work in close affiliation with other members so that sports are being promoted, participation is being encouraged and sports is developed at all levels. The organization looks at encouraging people to be associated with the sports at all level and looks at gathering the required funds which will help to ensure proper participation and ensure superior results (Blind Sports. 2014). This has thereby ensured that Blind Sports looks at working on the different factors which will help vision impaired or blind people to get the required recognition in the field of sports.

Proposed Component, Objective & Target Public

The new package will look at having the following so that better results are achieved

  • Proper navigation option which will allow people to surf and gather different information at a single click so that maximum information is gathered easily

  • Reduce the load of the page to ensure that the webpage opens quickly and provides maximum information to people which will improve the process of navigation and provide maximum information at ease (Petty & Cacioppo, 2006)

  • It will look at attracting both the blind and vision impaired along with people who will provide funding so that the different section of the society can be attracted and better leverage can be gained.

Proposed Overview of New Website

To ensure that the different objectives are achieved the new proposal will look to have the following

  • Have a search engine in the main page which will provide an opportunity to be able to search the different information easily. This will provide an opportunity through which the user will be able to find the allocated information easily and will thereby provide an opportunity through which easy navigation will become possible. This will be located at the top right hand corner so that people are able to navigate easily (Tseng & Fogg, 2009). This will provide an opportunity to search information directly pertaining to the required fields and will increase the ease through which different information is searched.

  • The main page will look to have some more graphics and look to be more attractive so that it catches the attention of the audience better. This will help to create a longer impression in the minds of the people and will create a positive impact. Having graphics and pictures but to a limited extent will highlight the different fields that the organization works on and catching the attention of the people based on it will become easy (Vaughan, 2004).

  • The navigation page will also look to have different hyperlinks which direct people to the different social networking sites. This will provide an opportunity to understand the popularity of the website and the different comments and blogs which have been posted can be read by all members (Holland and Baker, 2001). The process will also help to gain popularity among the different members and will create a path through which information and popularity can be witnessed on the social networking sites. The different social networking sites which will be affiliated to the same include FaceBook, Twitter and You Tube (Thelwall, 2006). The overall dimensions will further have to be developed in such a manner that it provides different impetus on the manner in which effective information regarding the organization can be spread.

  • The website development will further look to have different proposition where without clicking on the heads the user will be able to find different fields which the block contains. This will look at highlighting the main heads and the different information contained in it (Espadas, Calero and Piattini, 2008). This will be like a chart which will show the main points contained in the folder so that people need not go through all the information but by just having a look all information can be gathered easily. This will help to provide a platform through which information can be easily accessed and the person won’t have to go towards searching all the information which will thereby increase the effectiveness of searching the different information.
