Digitization of bodies is on the increase among the children. This usually happens way before the children are born to the time they are in school. The increasing digitization of the bodies of children and young people is taking place at a high rate. Various apps are used by children for obtaining information about the movement as well as the performance of the children. The progress of children in academics is currently being monitored by the digital devices in most schools (Lupton, 2015). Smart schools which fully utilize the digital technologies have emerged due to the technological advancements. This trend therefore indicates that the digital technology will be fully utilized in future.

The digital technology will play a vital role in the education of the children. In future the traditional classroom setting is likely to change. The digital devices are likely to play a much bigger role in enabling the students to learn on their own (Lupton, 2015). The children through the use of digital technology are likely to monitor themselves. This means that the role of the teachers in the education of the children is likely to diminish as a result of the digital devices. The trend is relevant in understanding the future of education. In the personal education context, the trend is also useful in determining the educational tools that will be relevant in the future education of children.

Data mining plays an essential role in the determination of patterns involving large data sets that entail different systems. Data mining concepts indicates that the digitization has the potential of determining the individual knowledge of persons or group of children (Lupton, 2015). This means that quality education that meets the needs of the learners is likely to be provided in future. Understanding the knowledge of the children can lead to efficiency in the learning process. It will be possible for the teachers to determine the most effective method of teaching the children and ensure that they fully understand the contents. It will also be possible to determine the learning outcomes through the use of the digital technologies. Teachers will be in a better position to offer quality education by selecting the most effective techniques (Witten, Eibe, & Hall.2011).

In future, teachers as well as parents will be able to easily monitor academic progress of the children. It will also be possible for the teachers to identify and understand the factors promoting or hindering the academic progress of the children. The need for a high number of teachers will be eliminated. This is because digitization has the ability of enabling a single teacher to interact and monitor a high number of children (Lupton, 2015). However, one of the main challenges that are likely to arise is the overdependence on technology. It may prevent the children from thinking on their own decisions and hence impacting negatively on the innovation. The future generation is thus likely to be fully reliant on the digital devices for every activity.
