Cat protection organization faces challenges in, housing, training and finding the best family in which the cats can be adopted and feel at home. However, research has proven that these challenges are manageable. Getting a good family that understands the value of cats is a difficult task. However, Cat Protection Society can formulate interview questions, which can help to identify people who are serious in adopting cats and treating them like pets (An Overview of Caring for Free-Roaming Cats p.5). For example, the interview questionnaire may include questions on how to treat a cat while it is sick. In addition, the person in charge of the cats can ask the customer to illustrate common things related to cats. This will help the organization to identify customers who understand how to take care of pets. In addition, the cat protection society should seek help from animal departments that deal with animal cruelty to gain power of suing people who mistreat cats (An Overview of Caring for Free-Roaming Cats p.7). The organization can also conduct a survey on the premises where the cat will be staying and determine if the family is worth handling pets. Families that seek to adopt cats should understand that cats need special attention in order to feel happy. The organization can give training to a family that seeks to adopt the kittens on the foods entitled for cats and medication they are entitled to receive (Cats, Community Care and Older People Living Alone par.8). Training can also be conducted occasionally and asking the community to attend and get the knowledge on treating animals well. In order to verify if a family is treating the adopted cats’ right, the organization should have plot addresses of the family and check on them often. In the end, people will understand that pets are not accessories and need to be treated fairly.

Training and housing cats is a challenge that affecting the Cat protection organization and people who have cats as pets. As discussed earlier, Cat Protection Society, have few trainers to handle the large number of stray and unwanted cats housed by the organization. This means that the few trainers strain a lot to make sure that the cats learn what is necessary. On the other hand, some cats take time to learn concepts as their psychology differs from that of a human being. However, the organization can seek help from the state by requesting that pet protection studies to be included in school syllabus(Cats Protection LearnOnline par.3). This will help students with passion for animals understand from a young age that pets’ studies are worth just like other careers in the society. This strategy will bridge the gap on limited pet trainers, as courses that specifically deal with cat protection will be introduced in many colleges and universities. When more people embrace cat protection studies, more cat protection organizations will be established. In addition, new techniques on how to make cats healthy and friendly will be unleashed through research. Cat protection organizations can also work with the state to fund short courses within the organization for people who want to learn more about the cat protection (Structure, Governance and Management par.7). Volunteer groups can also work with the organization to train the cats how to be friendly and peaceful (“Cats’ Protection” par. 3). In the end, the organization will have better opportunities of seeking more trainers and handling the many cats in the organization.
