The above results indicate results from the leadership test taken that revealed the above personality, which defines the leadership philosophy that the results reflect. The results show to an extrovert kind of leader that prefers to have an environment in which the subordinates have self-control rather than having active participation from the subordinates they lead. The communicative approach employed also indicates the preference of a reflective approach, which allows interpersonal communication with the leaders aiming at maintaining peace and working in harmony. The leadership approach balances the dominance levels between the people and their leader (Domanska, par 8). Out of the possible twelve leadership styles that include autocratic, democratic, strategic, transformational, team oriented, cross-cultural, facilitative, Laissez-faire, transactional, coaching charismatic and visionary, a few indicate to the above results (Raza). Visionary, charismatic, team approach, transformational strategic and democratic all prove trait that the results exhibit.

In one of the situations at school during group work when I was left to lead, we focused on communicating openly on the issues provided in which I found giving each person an opportunity to communicate and provide their opinion was instrumental in achieving positive results. The team effort was fruitful with the group results proving positive. The level of coordination was great with limited conflict arising considering all members found ease in participating and listening to each other. As the leader of the team, I ensured all members obtained equal time to present their ideas ensuring equality to all.

Relating the above example to the leadership test, it is evident that I am a team-oriented leader that embraces communication between the team members. These describe my style of leadership as democratic and one, which embraces teamwork and provides each person with an equal opportunity to participate. A democratic leadership relates closely to the Human resource model that many organizations have adopted (Hamilton, p.289). The style also embraces open communication that allows employees to share their views. In a bid to improve my leadership skills further, working on developing a participatory leadership attitude that embraces participation from members rather than self-control would enhance my leadership ability to have better control over teams and members of the groups that I lead. Making this adjustment will have a positive impact on my democratic approach to leadership increasing its effectiveness.
