For all the speakers and writers, giving a killer presentation is a core aim that at times can auger well, or cause an embarrassment due to possible loopholes. The presentation skills have become crucial in almost every niche. A good presentation is expected to present ideas, opinions, suggestions, explanations, and descriptions in a most precise and succinct way. Therefore, the presentation skills are vital to acquire and execute. Some major tips towards ensuring that a presentation if good and effective can be by ensuring that it serves the needs of the target audience, the presenter should be able to show passion and ensure connection with the listeners (Chaturvedi & Chaturvedi, 2011). The presentation should not wander off the core message, and therefore, keeping it precise and simple will turn out good. The start of the presentation should be strong to ensure that the audience gains confidence with your knowledge and skills. These tips among others are vital to be considered to ensure a successful presentation.

Hostile Audience

A hostile audience tends not to bare your presentation. Researchers have linked this instance with the audience’s lack of trust on the presenter’s idea. The listeners tend to profusely question and object any statement made by the presenter. However, the presenter can disarm them by building trust, creating humor, devising basic principles, posing a challenge to them, or/and offering references that are irrefutable. The other best way to make a presentation successful in a hostile audience is by not fighting back with anger, but by being cool and control the emotions. This way the presenter will deny them power to criticize the presentation, which would be orgy in case of defending self-ego (Wallwork, 2014). Therefore, a good presentation still thrives irrespective of the type of the audience as long as the presenter has the core skills to win over all the variant listeners.
