  1. What was the purpose of the article?

The purpose of this article is to explain how to foster Intrapreneurship through the use of new game leadership. To attain its purpose, the article starts by explaining the importance of Intrapreneurship in helping the companies to restore their vitality and enhance their innovation. The article analyses the difference between Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship and what is required for Intrapreneurship to flourish in organisations which are already established. It also analyses some of the common barriers which make it hard to install and stimulate Intrapreneurship. Finally, the article explains the role of game leadership in creating an entrepreneurial culture and enhancing innovation in organisations (Buekens, 2014).

  1. How are intrapreneurship, innovation and transformative innovation related?

Intrapreneurship is related to innovation through creating a context for innovation. Intrapreneurs think out of the box and come up with new ideas which lead to successful innovation within an organisation. They innovate within the existing company based on the environmental limitations. Intrapreneurship helps in coming up with infrastructure which is required to support innovation. This includes the process, information and the right people. This leads to a foundation required for continuous innovation irrespective of type of innovation being developed. Intrapreneurs come up with innovation that changes the existing systems to the new and sustainable way of doing things in a changed environment. This is known as transformative innovation. Hence, the three are related. Through intrapreneurship, it becomes possible to change the existing systems hence growth (Buekens, 2014).

  1. Why is understanding about intrapreneurship likely to be relevant to you?

Understanding intrapreneurship is very relevant to me. This is because it helps one understand the need to foster intrapreneurship in an organisation. I aspire to be an organisation leader in future hence I will need intrapreneurs. Intrapreneurs drive innovation and are well versed with the current trends. This helps a lot in transforming an organisation and attracting new talents. Innovation is very vital in an organisation since it enhances productivity and makes the organisation marketable. It will help in identifying Intrapreneurs and maintaining them to help in doing new things faster and staying ahead of competitors in innovation. It is evident that successful companies can find, develop and maintain Intrapreneurs. It will ensure that as organisations leader in future, I can have Intrapreneurs on board to ensure that the company do not fail due or be left behind in innovation. With the fast rate of innovation in the modern business world, understanding about intrapreneurship is vital (Buekens, 2014).
