The contemporary world is governed by technology as it makes work easier and determines an individual destiny. In fact, computers have created superficial memory that exceeds human intelligence. As such, many critics indicate that in the next fifty years technology will supersede human era. The computers will study the human brain and performs all the humanly functions. Thus, this will make work easier and ensure that human beings handle life challenges through incorporating technology to solve problems.

Apparently, new technologies in the field of agriculture, electronics and medicine have resulted to an increased population growth. The large population means that humanity will be governed with a large brain pool with will innovate better technologies. Thus, this will increase computers storage capacity, speed, and efficiency. Thus, future machines will perform efficiently and faster (Rhodes, 2009). Indeed, researchers indicate that electronics will become obsolete makes the computer era will revolutionize electronics. The revolutionizing will result to the development of optical computers, which will operate by use of moving photons rather than using electrons. When machines do not use electrons, this means they will not use heat. Thus, without heat, the computer will be building on smaller components and this will mean it will have a faster performance. Therefore, computers will become overwhelmingly fast and will do enormous work in a short period.

Evidently, the computers will get smaller because engineers will use a nanotechnology. Nanotechnology will use an assembler machine that will create and arrange atoms in small compartments. The technology will yield strong and light computer materials. It will make use of fabricated iron, titanium, and aluminum powders that will be molded into small ceramic components to form Lockheed engines. Thus, nanotechnology will create super minicomputers with increased speed and efficiency hence increasing their reliability by mankind on simple and complex jobs. In fact, futurists predicts, that this computers will be capable to process the power of the human brain. It will be capable to measure the performance of an individual brain by establishing their self-awareness (Degler, 2010).

In the next fifty years, more smart machines will be created and this will build a hi-tech world. The increased technological progress will explode and this will cause a phenomenon known as Sue Marta. Such a state means that technology will swell super- exponentially and utter the limits of knowledge. The machines will be aware of human experience and will operate in a fast manner to mimic the human beings neuronal activity. It will create a superhuman artificial intelligence, which can be downloaded and imitated to resemble a human mind (Ingersoll, 2013). However, critics demonstrate that computers cannot match a human mind because no one knows how a human mind works. The critics indicate that human minds are covenants of God and they have a magical connection to humanity, which cannot be superseded by machines. As such, they indicate that machines will become like men when humanity losses meaning. For instance, they indicate there is no way a computer will replace human affection and sense of belonging because they will never raise children.

Nonetheless, some people that the prediction of how technology works in future is not accurate. They indicate that every innovation creates other problems so innovation should be a continuous process. For instance, the football padding’s were created to prevent injuries, instead, they encourage players to play roughly, and this resulted to more falls and injuries. Such a story indicates that if people develop technologies without establishing how things are interconnected, this will create more problems for the world than solutions.

Most pertinently, it is important to note that future technologies will bring about innovations that will make life easier (Oldenziel, 2012). For instance, new technology will introduce smart medicine through use of chips, which will allow medics to monitor vital signs of patients. The chips will also allow doctors to sense blood pressure, body temperature and oxygen through use of remote receivers. Moreover, technology will help the military through enabling the creation of fire fighters arms that can sense intruders. Indeed, there will be also an invention on smart fire detectors. The fire detectors will use fiber optics to scan for any reflection of flames on windows and walls and automatically notifies the fire department to arrange for an evacuation.
