This is a unit which explains how laws are formed and implemented in federal/state and parliaments, how it’s applicable in primary and secondary legislation in day to day in Real estate practices.

When one is engaging in real estate practices mostly in any territory that is located within south Australian region, the following legislations governs such practice.

  1. Commonwealth government Acts and Jurisdiction of South Australia.

This act is regulated under the act of Commonwealth parliament of South Australia and it is used to govern real estates and property at a National level in all states and territories in South Australia. These Commonwealth Acts that govern real estate transaction and operations are:

  1. Privacy Act 1988 — This is a national privacy regulation used in real estate in South Australia and it normally applies to the Private organizations and businesses. It normally gathers information through real estate agents from clients and customers, stores the information and how it’s disposed is not in use.
