Hamlet is suitable under this section because it uses several literary devices, themes, and literary devices used in language. For instance, Shakespeare’s Hamlet main theme is loyalty. Its representation stays textually, socially, and culturally important today. Therefore, we can say that Shakespeare’s loyalty portrayal is an ideal case of textual integrity since its depiction loyalty reacts to and capture human experience basis. These assist responders to create their respective understanding of the text and loyalty theme, with respect to their own historical, cultural, and social context. The loyalty theme or concept is represented strongest by young Hamlet’s character and his duty’s implications with regards to connection with his deceased father.

Hamlet is impulsive and emotional. After his father through his ghost appears to Hamlet to reveal who killed him, Hamlet decided to revenge. He declares to wipe all unimportant fond accounts. He comprehends that he must set the circumstantial death of his father. He commands Marcellus and Horatio, after witnessing the ghost’s exposure, to avoid acknowledging him even after noticing him. After dedicating himself to avenging his father, Hamlet changes and people cannot relate with him. For example, Polonius is confused by Hamlet’s reactions because sometimes he is happy but then madness hits him promptly.

The second character of Hamlet is that he is surprising and inconsistent, and therefore, perplexing since he undermines other people’s expectations and fails to respond with a predictable reaction to his respective sentiments or other characters’ expectations. Hamlet’s inquisitive speech and compulsive pessimism also starts to distress other people. For instance, in his conversation with Guildenstern and Rosencrantz, Hamlet call Denmark a jail and that the world is a pestilent and foul as well as a flock of smoke. He starts to press men to explain their visits. Hamlet and his mother start to have a troubling relationship too because of his behavior. He becomes sarcastic and humiliating towards her because of marrying the man who killed her husband. According to Hamlet, his father’s corpse has not cooled but his mother has already decided to re-marry. This provokes his mother to inquire “What have I done, that thou darest/wag thy tongue/in noise so rude against me?” (II.iii.37-39). Briefly, this sarcastic, abrupt, and short interactions with the other characters assists in defining Hamlet as a pessimist and makes the readers to anticipate that his events’ perception will become clouded with the distinctive tome darkness.
