(Leadership and Change)

(University Affiliation)

Leadership is an inherent and inborn ability of individuals to deal with their environment and situations or can also be learnt and developed over somebody’s life (Kottler, 2013). My strength in leadership is how to deal with the capability of being able to define and command my own
reflection about various issues that affect the society. This also includes the ability to determine the ideal course of my own personal life as well as the path in which you are to follow so as to achieve your desired goals in life.
Through leadership, order and cohesion is fostered. It is through the leader that people feel united while carrying out any given duty. My possible weakness in leadership might be the capacity
to propagate and empower the group structure. It is upon any leader to nurture talents exhibited by their group members. This can be attained by supporting
assigned activities of group members and identification of objectives developed by group members; and fair analysis of the group performance. Self awareness in leadership refers to the ability of an individual to comprehend their own ability. This implies that a good leader should have that inner understanding of self. Thus, a good leader should know their weaknesses as well as their strength. For example, a good leader knows what amuses or annoys them. In addition, they know how to socialize with people without causing any kind of friction.

The purpose of developing my leadership capability is to bring a great performance and achieve my objectives as a leader. Firstly, is to have a vision which is a guiding stick in every endeavor that is carried out by every ambitious leader. It is a set objective that must be achieved in order to declare that a chore has been accomplished. Thus, visionary leadership is inevitable for positive results. A good leader should always have set up goals for their group. Once such goals are achieved; they should felicitate group members for the achievements made. Thereafter, a good leader should raise the par with which their specific groups must reach. This keeps the members on toes. Hence, they shall be forced to work harder in order to beat the set record. In the long run, it is the institution that gains out of that. Basically, proper leadership is that which is blended by visions.

Building A strong relationship

The aim is to have its leader focusing on the ability of the team members to tackle the issue at hand. Thus, the framework is best used in cases where there is danger, such as members of the army engaged in a war. The general will have to weigh and consider whether or not his team can pull out an offensive and come out successfully.

Motivation, performance, stress management and accuracy among team members are majorly implemented in any teamwork to deliver quality service to the designated place. and to provide efficiency in all departmental levels in the organization

This will provide a neutral communication to the team members. Good Relationships are employed to bring harmony among the

Members. Thus, it will be related to the mission, strategies and vision of the objectives of the team.

In regard to assignment 2, what I will do to resolve what was poor handled is the time management among the team members. The purpose of a leader in an organization is to manage people. The management of people is a difficult task. How one handles people in team conclude whether one is a leader or a manager. A manager is one who takes the view the employees or staff is human resource mechanism that should be organized to produce the most efficient or effective output (Daft, 2013). Time is one of the most important dimensions since all organizational activities race against time. It strongly affects the desired outcome for change management. Projects such as training of the team members of various programs should begin
prior to their departure to easily adapt and accommodate these changes.
The leader should tackle the issue with caution so that the team members may feel inspired by the need to change. This creates a good understanding and better working morale in achieving the needed change. The leader needs to identify the cultural aspects that keep on changing and be able to forecast on the future based on the present considering the changing pattern. Time management enables team members to efficient in carrying their duties as per the team leader structure. Eventually, this will bring prosperity among team members and realism of goals will be fulfilled.
For effective change to occur, the leaders need to integrate a plan which enhances speed and increased efficiency (Kottler, 2013). This should include identifying major initiatives and how they merge together in the plan. This is to help build a foundation on which the required changes actualized. Unlike managers, leaders are not supposed to oversee the daily basis of the firm rather than guiding the firms on the way forward to make steps of development.

In that focus on motivating human resource, developing a viable organizational structure and managing team in the libraries to ensure efficient coordination. Change is inevitable and the
need for change brings employers and harmonizes
efficient leadership. Leaders should distinguish conclusion, library leadership requires the ability to manage change and the need to de-emphasis the aspect of rigid bureaucracy in library management. It should focus on developing planning strategies themselves from managers since the work of the managers is to oversee whether the implemented policies are carried out in an effective and orderly way. Leaders on their part should lead the firm on the way forward when critical decisions are to be made (Komives, 2012). The cost of implementing change is expensive and without being resistant and vibrant the change would end up not being implemented in the real time. Setting up the real strategy, the required timeline for doing the different tasks and the understanding of different human dynamics are the characters that characterize change leadership. For organizations to grow they need to balance between management and leadership.
