Question two

The housing prices in china are quite high compared to other nations such the United States. This is as a result of various factors such as; inflation, economic growth and access to bank credits (Zhengxun and Shu 2014, p. 121) The inflation rate has a direct integration to pricing of houses. Therefore, this is to say that the high the inflation rate, the higher the housing price. According to Peng et al (2008, p. 247), there also exists a connection between inflation, bank credit and housing prices in china. This is attributed to the fact that, an increase in inflation rate leads to an increase in housing pricing. This in returns leads to an increase in bank credits, as individuals try to acquire money to meet the housing prices. Additionally, a growth in the economy also affects the housing pricing in china. Therefore, this means that as long as the economy of china is doing good then one would expect the housing prices to lower. However, according to Kuang and Liu (2015, p. 230), an increase in housing prices is more or less likely to aggravate the inflation rate. Therefore, housing prices have a more direct correlation to inflation as compared to economic growth.
