This essay will argue about the impacts of different genres of films in the modern world. Films are usually produced in accordance with situations that take place in our real life situations and others do not align a real life situation, they are created out of our imaginations.

There are very many different theories in the film industry and all of these theories try to bring out the sense of a film. The theory of the auteur is mainly concerned with stylistic devices that have been brought forth by the individual author of a film (Barry, 2008). The ideology theory on the other hand mainly focuses on realistic ideas that can be implemented in a film.

The role played by an author in a movie is very important because he is the one who comes up with the thoughts that are to be expressed in the movie and this means that when the author does not have a convincing way of expressing his thoughts then chances that the movie is going to be interesting are very minimal since the author is expected to come up with ideas that are more interesting and those that can catch the attention of the viewers.
