Children in the contemporary world face challenges of fast-paced learning in an environment characterized with continuous changes in technology. The greatest responsibility therefore lies on the shoulders of early childhood scholars and teachers. The curriculums they develop for the young learners should be geared towards countering such obstacles through whole-child progressive teaching methods. These methods should be able to decrease anxieties and increase the probability of the children retaining what they have learnt. As a person with a rich background in classroom experience and strong ethical and moral values, I believe early childhood education should be done progressively with hands-on-experience and interaction with the children. The passion I have for academics, my learning experiences and my past make me view a child as a fragile being who should be handled with care, love and patience. Therefore a learning environment for Early Childhood Education should be built upon creativity, fun, comfort and love in order to facilitate appropriate learning.
